First Thursday Sessions, Hosted by John Dover at Mazzas Club

To highlight the vast talent pool that is the Portland music scene, John Dover has partnered with Mazza's to create a unique collaborative event every first Thursday. John invites various musical guests to join him and put together a truly unique show every month. Entertainment and musical expression are the goals and we aim to meet them head on.

We will welcome in the summer with the most summery composer of all times (in my opinion). The night will feature the music of Jobim with the beautiful vocals of Jessica Dover, backed up by John Dover's quartet comprised of Pete Petersen on sax, Mike Doolin on guitar, Craig Snazelle on bass, and Charles Neal on drums....

The cover for the night is only $5 and minors are welcome until 10:30 so feel free to bring the family for a nice dinner and night out.
